Finance Support Assistant
Location: Ashby-de-la-Zouch, UK
We are looking for a financially-astute person with previous experience in accounts receivable and cash management to support our busy business units with their day-to-day operations. This role is key to ensuring we meet supplier deadlines, adhere to all relevant payment processes and satisfy our clients’ service level agreements.
Specific role responsibilities include invoice processing and distribution, direct billing and credit card management, bank reconciliations, sales receipt support and setting up new customers. This will include preparing weekly payments, running regular reports (and providing analysis where required), helping with client queries and processing expenses.
To achieve quality and accuracy of output – in line with company processes and client expectations – you will need to develop a good understanding of our clients’ businesses and products and be able to multi-task efficiently, planning and prioritising your workload to meet objectives and deadlines. Due to the nature of our industry you will also be expected to comply with all relevant privacy and security protocols.
To be considered for this role you will need a GCSE (or equivalent) in mathematics and English (grade C or above), be analytically-minded with an incredible attention to detail and possess strong written and verbal communication skills. You will need an intermediate level understanding of Microsoft Excel and Word and pride yourself on providing exceptional customer service. Knowledge of pharmaceutical compliance codes would be beneficial.

This role is based at our European headquarters in the picturesque market town of Ashby-de-la-Zouch, close to Nottingham, Leicester and Derby and easily accessible from the M1.
