We organised a global management conference for our parent company, UDG Healthcare, a FTSE 250 business that has three separate operating divisions. The event, in Lisbon, Portugal was attended by 150 business leaders. The conference message needed to change the mind-set of senior leaders to a challenger mind-set. The meeting theme was Innovation Through Collaboration and the event featured a combination of sharing best practice, facilitated workshops, external speakers and environment exhibits, all tied together by a digital network and event app.
We developed an event programme, agenda, identity and concept that launched and drove the behavioural changes and provided tools and systems that could be adopted by each business in their respective operating companies. A novel, custom-built digital network developed as a multi-faceted interaction tool, facilitating networking, providing insight and focusing people in specialist expertise groups. The use of the system allowed the cross-functional attendees to make different connections within the client network and encouraged collaborative behaviour. It was also used as a post-event tool to develop an online community to ensure core messages were cascaded and shared post-conference.
The team ensured the concept was brought to life in a highly effective and memorable environment. The conference was a huge success and achieved all the objectives set.
