We’re extremely pleased to announce that our collaboration with leading biopharmaceutical company, AstraZeneca UK, and the iconic Glasgow venue, the Scottish Event Campus (SEC), has led to exciting achievements at this year’s Corporate Engagement Awards.
The Corporate Engagement Awards recognises the most successful and innovative corporate partnerships and sponsorships, and the communication strategies around those collaborations.
The event for 600 of AstraZeneca’s staff achieved a Silver in the “Best engagement of an internal audience in a CSR programme” category, Bronze in “Best alignment of brand values during a CSR programme” and was Highly commended in “Best CSR activity/programme to support or develop a corporate reputation”.
Rob Quayle, Meetings Leader & Head of Events at AstraZeneca UK, attended the prestigious awards ceremony held at The Brewery in Central London, and reflected on the successful partnership that led to this latest accolade.
“Ashfield Meetings & Events co-ordinated a truly unique and engaging activity that more than fulfilled the objectives we set out to achieve, collaborating with a venue that offered so much more than merely a space to hold our team. This was a genuinely close collaboration between our organisations, which also ensured valuable contributions for our four local charities. Being shortlisted in all three categories is great recognition and we are very proud of the contribution we have made, whilst at the same time providing our employees the opportunity to support a worthy CSR activity.”
