Account Manager, Patsy Kennedy sees mentee achieve top industry recognition at C&IT A-list event.
Every year, Conference & Incentive Travel magazine (one of the most well-known publications in our industry) compiles a list of 35 outstanding event professionals under 35. For these young people singled out for their excellence, this is undoubtedly an honor, but it’s quite another level of pride you feel when you see someone you’ve mentored throughout their career gain such worthy recognition.
Nicole Masterman is someone I’ve known and worked with for over 10 years since she started out as a Project Coordinator. It was easy to see from the beginning that Nicole had talent and would be going places. She learned fast, had a very keen eye (and ear) for detail, and showed enormous interest in every aspect of her role.
Over the years I’ve seen Nicole’s confidence grow as clients warm to her fun personality and rely on her experience and abilities as they work with her. We have enjoyed a great friendship and camaraderie over the years and it’s been fantastic to witness her climbing the career ladder to where she is now – Senior Account Manager for Ashfield Meetings & Events.
When Nicole asked me to accompany her to the prestigious C&IT A-list event, saying that I’d played a key role in her career, I was honoured and delighted!
Here at Ashfield Meetings & Events we pride ourselves on delivering healthcare meetings and events with certainty and impact, and that’s exactly what Nicole does every day – she creates an impact. I’m so pleased that our industry has given her the recognition she deserves.
